CASE STUDY: COMEDY CENTRAL

The ask: To lighten the mood and bring laughter to the surface, during a time when people were still adjusting.

During Covid when in-person attendance was limited, Comedy Central took to Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, CO. Home of their famed cartoon show, South Park, Comedy Central filled the stands with two-dimensional fans. While 5,700 live spectators were allowed to sit in the stands, 1,800 silent fans got all the attention. The cutouts were available to fans for online purchase as part of a Broncos’ initiative to raise money for charity.
